Downtime Time

Time has been set to 10:30AM EST when the studio here at Amusement Radio will shut down. A few episodes have been loaded into a web-based backup streaming solution and all audio players on this site will continue operation. Check this blog for another post explaining what live shows will or will not happen because of this outage.

Very sorry for any inconvenience. A sister only graduates once!

Downtime Details.

This month, Amusement Radio will have some extensive downtime, and cancelations of live shows. Amusement Radio does have a backup system in place, and audio will still be served to you, just not from our normal studio. During this studio downtime, we will be unable to host episodes of live shows. Below is a list of dates of shows that are canceled now, and a list of possible canceled shows. And as we get closer to the dates, this post will be edited/refined to be more accurate.

Emily's First Post

Hello to the friends and fans:

So. This is Emily's first post. About time, eh? Just like Daniel, life has been busy for me. But, since it's Saturday, I figured I could drop in for a quick moment or two. Fascinating, right? So... welcome!

Whats up?

You may or may not know, Amusement Radio is operated by a college student. And well.... school is the priority (GASP!), this week has been really heavy with work and the show will not take place on Friday night.

I have not made the call on the next Monday show, but chances are it will suffer the same fate :'(

UPDATE(3.29.09): It has been announced that the Monday show has additionally been called off, sorry for the inconvenience.

Monday Show

Yup, the Monday show for 3.23.09 is done and uploaded. From a tech standpoint, it was surprisingly good. I tweaked some settings so the episode recorded louder, before it was just minimum, but now it should seem a little more powerful, and have a higher-quality sound to it. Let just hope it stays like that for the Friday show!
